Due to the unfortunate pandemic disruption, we have cancelled Coop Camp for all of 2021.
We will announce when the next Coop Camp will be.
A great weekend of classroom and hands-on learning, socializing with other chicken people, Chicken Poop Bingo, door prizes, goat yoga and plenty of laughs.

We do our best to keep costs down, and bring you the best value for your money!
The base price for adults is $150 with special pricing for children (under 18), Coop Camp alumni, and Coops for Troops recipients and their families.
This price includes Camp Socials on Friday and Saturday evenings, all twelve incredible educational presentations, continental breakfast before camp each morning and snacks. In addition, each Camper receives an awesome goodie bag stuffed with treats, samples and coupons. And don’t forget our amazing door prizes at each presentation!
As part of our efforts to keep Camp affordable, we offer several optional
Hands-On Workshops during the weekend (these may include a material or instructor fee). Campers pick and choose workshops to attend based on their own personal interests. The Workshop list will be emailed to Campers in early April to make their selections. We anticipate 6-7 optional workshops.
Register online on the Coop Camp page HERE.
Coop Camp is on the west side of Indianapolis, at the Hendricks Country 4-H Fairgrounds near the charming little town of Danville, Indiana.
If you are flying in, fly into the Indianapolis Airport, located just 15 minutes from the venue.
There are many hotels available within a 10 to 15 minute drive of the event location. See map and listings for some choices.
Check in Friday evening, August 7 at the Hendricks County 4-H Fairground starting at 6:30 pm. We look forward to meeting you!
Coop Camp is a weekend of education for chicken-keepers…but so much more! We also learn a bit about beekeeping, goats, gardening and other “farm skills”. AND Coop Camp is also three days of making new friends, seeing old friends, learning new skills, building a community, laughter, learning, relaxing, getting away from the everyday grind and challenging yourself! And don’t go home without shopping the tables in the Marketplace, where you’ll find a variety of supplies, art, trinkets and treasures to treat your chickens and yourself! Click here for the schedule.
We have a limited number of vendor tables available. If you’re interested in selling to this highly engaged chicken/bees/goats/gardening/art audience, contact us at coopcamp@coopdreams.tv .
If you’d like to present on a topic relevant to chicken keeping, beekeeping, gardening or homesteading, we are accepting presentation proposals until May 30th.
If you are interested in teaching a hands-on workshop, we are accepting proposals until May 30th.
Please provide your background and experience as it relates to your proposed presentation and a brief description of the information to be included in the presentation.
If you are proposing a workshop, please provide your background, a description of the workshop and materials required, an estimated cost to participants and an estimated amount of time to complete the project.
For more information or specific questions about presenting or teaching, please email us at coopcamp@coopdreams.tv .
We have a variety of sponsorship opportunities available from sponsoring speakers to sponsoring meals, snacks or Chicken Poop Bingo. Contact us and let’s talk! Reach us at coopcamp@coopdreams.tv .
